Based on the problem I want to solve, I'll outline the key features, create wireframes for different screens, and identify how the user will interact with the app. Let's start with the problem statement: Problem: Many people struggle to manage their daily tasks effectively and often feel overwhelmed by the number of things they need to remember and accomplish. App Name: TaskTracker Key Features: Task Creation: Users can easily create tasks by providing a title, due date, priority level, and optional description. Task Organization: Users can categorize tasks into different lists or projects, allowing them to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently. Reminders and Notifications: Users can set reminders for tasks, ensuring they receive timely notifications before the due date or at specified intervals. Task Status Tracking: Users can update the status of tasks, such as "In Progress," "Completed," or "Pending," to keep track of their progress and stay organized. Task Prioritization: Users can assign priority levels to tasks (e.g., high, medium, low) to focus on the most important ones and maintain productivity. Task Details: Users can view detailed information about each task, including the due date, description, priority level, status, and any associated subtasks or notes. Subtasks: Users can break down complex tasks into smaller subtasks, allowing for better organization and tracking of progress. Search and Filters: Users can search for specific tasks or use filters to view tasks based on criteria like due date, priority, or status. Collaboration (optional): Users can share tasks or projects with others, enabling collaboration and task assignment. Dark Mode: Users can toggle between light and dark modes for better readability and reduced eye strain. User Interaction: Onboarding: Users will be greeted with an onboarding screen explaining the app's key features and a prompt to create an account or log in if they already have one. Home Screen: After logging in, users will land on the home screen, which displays an overview of their tasks. The home screen will include a prominent "Add Task" button to create a new task quickly. Users can swipe left or right to access different task lists or projects. Task Creation: Tapping the "Add Task" button will bring up a task creation form where users can enter task details such as title, due date, priority, and description. Users can optionally assign subtasks or add notes within the task creation form. Task List/Project Screen: This screen will display a list of tasks within a particular project or task list. Each task will show its title, due date, priority, and status. Users can swipe right on a task to mark it as completed or swipe left to delete it. Tapping on a task will navigate to the task details screen. Task Details Screen: This screen will provide a detailed view of a specific task, including its title, due date, priority, status, description, subtasks, and notes. Users can edit task details, update the status, add subtasks or notes, or set reminders. A "Back" button will allow users to return to the previous screen. Search and Filters: Users can access the search and filter functionality from the home screen or the task list/project screen. Tapping on the search icon will bring up a search bar where users can enter keywords to search for specific tasks. Users can apply filters to view tasks based on due date, priority, status,categorization, or other custom filters. Reminders and Notifications: Users will receive notifications for upcoming task deadlines or reminders they have set. Notifications will include task details and options to snooze or mark tasks as completed directly from the notification. Collaboration (optional): If collaboration is enabled, users can invite others to collaborate on tasks or projects. Users can assign tasks to specific collaborators and track their progress. Collaborators will receive notifications for assigned tasks and be able to update task details and status. Settings: The app will have a settings screen where users can customize app preferences. Settings may include options for app theme (light or dark mode), notification preferences, default sorting options, and account management. Wireframes: Here are simplified wireframes for the key screens mentioned above: Onboarding Screen: Welcome message and option to create an account or log in. Home Screen: Overview of tasks, add task button, and swipeable task lists/projects. Task Creation Form: Form fields for task details, including title, due date, priority, and description. Task List/Project Screen: List of tasks within a project or task list, with swipe actions for completion and deletion. Task Details Screen: Detailed view of a specific task, showing all relevant details and options for editing and updating. Search and Filters: Search bar and filter options for refining task views. Notifications: Sample notification with task details and actions. Please note that these wireframes are simplified representations to convey the general layout and flow of the app. In actual design, more attention would be given to visual aesthetics, typography, and user experience design principles to create an engaging and intuitive app interface.
