However, his happiness is short-lived as his girlfriend is found dead under mysterious circumstances. The police are baffled, and Chad, along with his close friends, is determined to uncover the truth behind the murder. Each of them holds a secret, and as the night unfolds, the group realizes that not everyone can be trusted. Game objective: Players take on the roles of Chad and his friends, each with their unique abilities and motives. The objective of the game is to uncover clues, unravel alibis, and ultimately determine who is responsible for the murder of Chad's girlfriend. Players must work together to solve the mystery, but they must also be careful not to reveal their own secrets or be framed for the crime. How to play: Each player selects a character and takes their character sheet, secret objective card, and ability tokens. The game begins with the reading of the crime scene report, detailing the murder and circumstances surrounding it. Players take turns moving around the Hollywood-themed game board, visiting various locations to gather clues, question suspects, and interact with other players. During each turn, a player can perform up to two actions: move, gather clues, reveal or accuse another player, use a character ability, or draw an event card. Clues are collected by rolling dice and matching symbols on the game board. Each clue card provides information about the murder or a player's secret objective. Players can accuse one another of being the murderer if they believe they have enough evidence. If a player is accused and cannot provide an alibi, they are eliminated from the game. When a player thinks they have solved the mystery, they must return to the starting location and present their evidence. If their accusation is correct, they win the game. If not, they are eliminated, and the game continues. The game ends when the murderer is successfully identified, or all players are eliminated, in which case the murderer wins.
