Great! You find yourself in a peaceful village, surrounded by fields of wheat and farms. As you walk through the village, you hear whispers of a great evil that has been terrorizing nearby towns and villages. The people are afraid, and many have lost loved ones to the evil. Suddenly, a messenger approaches you and tells you that the mayor is seeking heroes to help defeat the evil. The mayor has promised a great reward to anyone who can rid the land of this evil. What do you do? Luis De Jesus Figueroa (Luivision) I ask: Where is this mayor of yours? I can assist please lead me to him! The old man looks up at you with a smile, "Well, thank you kindly young one. The mayor is over yonder in the town hall. Just head straight down this road and take a left at the fountain. You can't miss it. Be careful though, there have been rumors of bandits lurking around these parts lately." He hands you a small map of the town and bids you good luck on your journey. Luis De Jesus Figueroa (Luivision) Looking a bit confused as I requested to be lead (Walked to) "But wait!" As he leaves me to fend for myself. I mutter "I do not believe in luck..." As you mutter to yourself, you notice a piece of paper lying on the ground nearby. Upon closer inspection, you realize it's a map of the town with a small note attached to it. The note reads, "Follow this map to find the mayor's office. He is waiting for you there." Feeling a bit relieved, you start following the map towards the mayor's office. As you walk through the town, you notice that people seem to be going about their business, but there is an air of unease and tension. Eventually, you arrive at a large, imposing building with the words "Mayor's Office" inscribed on the front. You enter the building and are greeted by a stern-looking receptionist. "What do you want?" she demands. Luis De Jesus Figueroa (Luivision) I am looking to speak with the mayor as I was instructed by a messenger (A really scared looking old man really) to meet with him here as he is waiting for assistance in dealing with the evil. As you make your way through the bustling market, you ask a few vendors and passersby about the location of the mayor's office. After a few directions and turns, you finally arrive at a large building with a sign that reads "Mayor's Office." Upon entering the building, you are greeted by a receptionist who asks for your name and purpose of visit. After explaining your mission, she instructs you to take a seat in the waiting area while she informs the mayor of your arrival. A few minutes pass before the receptionist returns and informs you that the mayor is available to meet with you. She leads you to a large office where a middle-aged man with a serious expression sits behind a desk. "Greetings, traveler. I am Mayor Johnson," he says, extending his hand for a shake. "I understand that you are here to assist us in dealing with the evil that plagues our town. Please, tell me more about yourself and how you plan to help us." (Luivision) Greetings Mayor I am Luivision, a disciple of Jesus Christ from Nazareth, he has sent me to spread the gospel to all nations. We serve the one true living God and thru him and those who repent and believe in him can be set free from all bondages, chains and of any Sins they may not be desiring. The mayor looks at you with a mix of curiosity and skepticism. "I see," he says slowly. "And how does this relate to the situation at hand? As you can see, my town is currently under attack by a group of bandits who seem intent on destroying everything we hold dear. We need physical help, not just spiritual guidance." He pauses for a moment before continuing, "But perhaps your God can help us in some way. If you truly believe in his power, then perhaps you can assist us in driving off these attackers. We could use any help we can get." The mayor looks at you expectantly, waiting for your response. Luis De Jesus Figueroa (Luivision) "Yes, of course!" I bow down my head and in prayer I ask the Lord all mighty for guidance and discernment in this situation. After being in presence of the Lord in my mind the holy spirit gives me instructions. "Go meet with the bandits and speak to them of me," I ask the Mayor "Where can I find these bandits? I must speak with them." The mayor replies, "The bandits are known to roam in the forest on the outskirts of our town. They have been causing trouble for our people and have even attacked some of our traders. Be cautious though, they are dangerous and may not be willing to listen to reason." He then gives you a rough map of the area and suggests that you gather any supplies you may need before venturing into the forest. He also offers to provide a guide to accompany you if you wish. (Luivision) No thank you Mayor I do not want to put in jeopardy any of your people. But I must ask, have there been any demands made by these bandits, as to the reasoning of their attacks? The Mayor nods, "They have been demanding a large sum of money in exchange for the safety of the town. But we cannot afford to pay them such a sum, it would bankrupt us." He sighs heavily, "We have tried negotiating with them, but they will not listen to reason." (Luivision) I see, it must be then either they truly want to be helpful and recognized (This may explain why they are asking such high demands that cannot be met); they are under influence by evil spirits or someone in charge who is guiding them. into these acts. I shall go to the forest now while there is still daylight. As you head towards the forest, you notice that the atmosphere becomes more tense and ominous the closer you get. As you reach the outskirts of the forest, you see a group of bandits gathered around a campfire. They are armed and seem to be on high alert. One of the bandits notices you and points his weapon toward you. "Who goes there? State your business!" he demands. You take a deep breath and calmly reply, "I come in peace, I am Luivision, a disciple of Jesus Christ. I am here to speak with you about your actions and to offer you a way out of this path of destruction." The bandits look at each other skeptically, but the one who spoke earlier motions for you to approach. "Alright, you can come closer, but make any sudden moves and we won't hesitate to take you down," he warns. You cautiously approach the bandits and sit down near the campfire. You start to speak to them about the love and forgiveness that can be found through Jesus Christ. The bandits seem surprised and skeptical at first, but they start to listen as you speak. As you finish speaking, the bandits start to talk amongst themselves. They seem to be contemplating what you've said. Finally, the one who spoke earlier turns to you and says, "We'll consider what you've said. But we need some time to think about it. Can you come back tomorrow?" You nod, "Yes, I can come back tomorrow. May I also leave you with some reading material to consider?" The bandits nod, and you hand them some Bible tracts. You then bid them farewell and start to make your way back to the town, feeling hopeful that you've made a difference.
