Chinese Xianxia Ink Beasts

Chinese ink and mineral pigment on aged silk, in the spirit of the Shan Hai Jing bestiary. Name any four-legged beast or bird and it becomes a yao - a demon beast - in gongbi linework: one gold eye in pure profile, one cinnabar line down the spine, a cracked mud-gold moon behind, ruyi clouds in faint ochre. Swap one word, keep every other line. For xianxia covers, game art, tarot decks. Four colours only, no gore. Not for dragons.
