Collodion Plates

A tintype is made by hand, one plate at a time: collodion poured across metal, dipped in silver nitrate, exposed and developed while still wet. The flaws are the signature, from pour lines down the edges to chemical streaks and focus that holds only at the centre. This template renders those artefacts faithfully. Process, tone and lighting stay locked across all nine versions. Three short keywords change the plate: the subject, the tone, and the surface beneath it.
