CLAUDE-5-5-OPUS
Build a complete, polished browser game called "[GAME TITLE]" - a cozy pixel-art cat cafe management game - as ONE self-contained file named index.html (HTML + CSS + JavaScript in the same file). No external assets, no libraries, no CDN, no images, no fonts to download: draw every sprite with code on a <canvas> (pixel art at a 320x180 internal resolution, scaled up with crisp nearest-neighbour pixels to fit the window while keeping the aspect ratio). It must run offline by double-clicking the file, on desktop and on mobile (touch).
SETTING AND LOOK
- Theme: [SETTING], a small cat cafe run by the player. Colour palette: [PALETTE] (max 24 colours, soft and warm).
- Side view of the cafe: entrance door on the left, a counter with an espresso machine and cake display, 4 customer tables in the middle, and a cat play corner on the right (cat tower, cushions, a window sill with sunlight).
- Cats are small pixel sprites with 8 coat patterns (orange tabby, black, white, calico, grey, tuxedo, siamese, cream). Every cat has idle animations: tail swish, blink, stretch, loaf, grooming, chasing a toy, and naps with "z z" bubbles.
- A day/night window: morning light, noon, golden sunset, evening lamps. Seasonal decorations change every 3 days (spring blossoms, summer fan and ice tea, autumn leaves and pumpkins, winter snow and a kotatsu for cats).
CORE LOOP (one in-game day = 3 real minutes)
1. Customers enter and wait at the door with a wish icon: a drink, a cake, or a specific cat (shown as that cat's face).
2. The player taps a customer, then taps a free table to seat them. Customers walk; no teleporting.
3. The player taps the counter to prepare the order (short brewing/plating progress bar), then taps the table to serve it.
4. The player can drag (or tap-then-tap) a cat to a table. Each cat has a mood bar; happy cats raise customer happiness, tired cats must nap on a cushion to recover. Cats also wander by themselves and sometimes visit tables on their own.
5. Customers pay coins when they leave (coin pop particles + sound) and give 1-5 hearts based on wait time, correct order and cat attention.
6. Customers who wait too long leave sad (no money, reputation penalty). Tables get crumbs after use; tap to wipe them.
PROGRESSION
- Coins buy upgrades in a shop panel: more tables (up to 6), faster espresso machine, new menu items (latte art, matcha, parfait, fish-shaped taiyaki - each with its own tiny sprite), cat furniture (cat tower, hammock, tunnel, fish tank) that each give +X% cat mood, decorations (plants, fairy lights, rugs, bookshelf) that give +X% customer happiness, and hiring a staff member who auto-wipes tables.
- Adopt new cats with coins: each new cat has a name, a personality (shy, playful, sleepy, glutton, diva) and a favourite toy. A Cat Album screen shows every cat with its pattern, personality and a heart counter (silhouettes for cats not yet adopted).
- Reputation (average of recent hearts) raises the cafe rank: Rank 1 "Corner Cafe" to Rank 5 "Famous Cat Cafe", each rank unlocking new customer types (student, office worker, grandma who brings fish snacks, influencer who wants the diva cat, cat photographer).
END OF DAY
- Show a cozy summary card: customers served, coins earned, average hearts, "cat of the day" with its sprite, a short guest comment (generated from small word lists), and a "Next Day" button.
AUDIO
- Generate all sound with the Web Audio API (no files): soft meows (pitch varies per cat), purring when a cat is happy, cup clink, coffee machine hiss, coin chime, door bell, and a looping gentle lo-fi background melody with a mute button. Audio starts only after the first user tap.
UI AND FEEL
- Top bar: coins, day number, season icon, clock, rank hearts. Buttons: Shop, Cat Album, Pause, Mute.
- Every action has juice: squash-and-stretch on tap, heart particles from happy cats, small bounce when serving, floating "+coins" text.
- Clear onboarding: the first day shows 4 short tooltip steps (seat a customer, serve an order, bring a cat, buy an upgrade).
- Keyboard shortcuts on desktop (1-6 select table, Q next customer, C counter, W wipe, Space pause).
- Auto-save progress to localStorage after every day and on page hide; "Continue" and "New Game" on the title screen.
- Title screen with a sleeping cat on a cushion, falling petals and the game title drawn in pixel letters.
QUALITY BAR
- Readability: wish icons, mood bars, progress bars, floating labels and speech bubbles must never overlap each other (give each table one status line and stack extra labels upward with spacing); all in-scene text must stay readable on a phone screen.
- No console errors. Stable 60 fps on a mid-range phone. All text in [LANGUAGE].
- Organise the code in clear sections (config, sprites, entities, systems, UI, audio, save/load) with comments, so the player can tweak numbers in a CONFIG object at the top (day length, prices, customer spawn rate, startCoins).
- When finished, tell me how to play in 5 bullet points.
