Floating weightlessly, he gazed at the vast expanse outside. Stars twinkled and the Earth shone in its radiant blue and green. However, it was the moon's desolate landscape that captured his attention now. "Commencing routine scan," Lucas whispered into his headset. For now, prioritize your safety," the voice replied coldly. But Lucas's curiosity was insatiable. With a calculated risk, he rerouted the module to give him a closer view. As he neared the mysterious formation, it became evident this wasn't a chance discovery. The structure was intricately designed with markings Lucas couldn't decipher. His pulse quickened as he took photos. These would be evidence, regardless of whatever awaited him back on Earth. Suddenly, a blinding light engulfed the module. Systems went offline, alarms blared, and a deafening silence followed. When Lucas awoke, he found himself in a dimly lit room, strapped to a table.
