Venue:
I chose the Garden Terrace, an elegant and spacious outdoor venue that can comfortably accommodate 60 guests. The Garden Terrace can be booked from 15 June and fits Sophie's budget. The rental cost includes tables, chairs and a basic sound system.
Decoration:
The theme of the party will be "Chic Garden Party". The decorations will be pastel, with an emphasis on light pink and soft green. Tables will be decorated with floral arrangements of roses and eucalyptus leaves, creating a beautiful and fragrant centrepiece. We will use string lights and lanterns to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. In addition, we will provide matching linen napkins and table runners to complete the theme.
The menu:
We have partnered with a trusted local caterer, known for their delicious and high quality food. The menu will include a variety of starters, main courses and desserts, taking into account the preferences, allergies and dietary restrictions of Sophie and her guests. The menu will also include vegetarian options. The dishes on the menu are as follows
Starters: Bruschetta, Caprese skewers and vegetable spring rolls.
Main courses: Grilled chicken with herb sauce, pasta with pesto (vegetarian) and peppers stuffed with quinoa (vegetarian).
Desserts: Chocolate mousse, lemon pie and personalised birthday cake
Drinks: A selection of wines, beers, soft drinks and a signature cocktail.
Entertainment:
We will bring in a talented acoustic band to play live music during the party. The band will play a mixture of popular songs and will take requests from guests. In addition, we will have some interactive games, such as a Sophie quiz, and a photo booth with fun props for guests.
Budget management:
We will negotiate competitive rates with all suppliers and provide Sophie with a clear breakdown of costs. We will monitor expenditure to ensure that the budget is adhered to throughout the organisation process.
Coordination of service providers:
We will work closely with caterers, decorators, photographers and artists to ensure that all aspects of the event are well coordinated. Regular communication and meetings will take place to ensure that everyone is informed and prepared for the big day.
Supervision and problem solving:
On the day of the event, we will oversee the set-up, preparation and running of the party. Our team will be on hand to ensure that everything goes smoothly and according to plan. We will be ready to respond quickly to any problems that may arise and find solutions to minimize the impact on the event, ensuring a successful and memorable experience for Sophie and her guests.
