During this reporting period, the student demonstrated the ability to answer literal comprehension questions at approximately 72% accuracy across weekly assessments with one verbal prompt provided. Performance has been most consistent with narrative texts and requires additional support with informational passages. 2. The student is progressing adequately toward the annual goal, with current data reflecting accuracy at approximately 65% with moderate verbal prompting across three assessment sessions. The student benefits from rereading strategies and responds well to structured questioning. Continued practice with varied text types is recommended to support generalization. 3. The student has demonstrated strong progress this period and is approaching goal mastery. Across the most recent four assessment sessions, the student answered literal comprehension questions at 80% accuracy or above with one verbal prompt or less. With continued fading of prompts, the student is on track to meet this goal by the target date. 4. Progress toward this goal has been inconsistent during the current reporting period. The student performed at approximately 50% accuracy on literal comprehension tasks, with performance varying significantly based on text complexity and level of fatigue. Additional small-group reading support has been recommended to address emerging gaps. 5. The student is showing emerging skills in literal reading comprehension. During structured assessment conditions, the student answered 3 out of 5 questions correctly with two or more verbal prompts on three of four trials.
