Illuminated Manuscript Initials

Every medieval manuscript opened the same way: one enormous decorated letter, gilded in real gold, wrapped in vines and tiny painted scenes. This template renders a single illuminated initial that way, with gold leaf that catches light and marginalia painted at miniature scale. One fixed craft and layout hold all nine versions together.
