Job Title: Network Security Engineer Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team. As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network security solutions to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our company's data and systems. You will work closely with our IT and operations teams to identify and mitigate potential security threats and vulnerabilities. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, VPNs, and other security technologies Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices Collaborate with IT and operations teams to ensure that security solutions are integrated into overall IT infrastructure and business processes Respond to and manage security incidents, including performing forensics analysis and remediation activities Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and security technologies, and recommend new tools and techniques to improve our security posture Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security engineering Expertise in network security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, VPNs, and other security technologies Experience with security assessment tools and methodologies, such as vulnerability scanners and penetration testing Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential security threats and vulnerabilities Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned network security engineer with a passion for designing and implementing robust security solutions. They have a deep understanding of network security technologies, as well as knowledge of industry regulations and best practices. They are highly analytical and able to identify and mitigate potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
