1. Talk to your manager about the problem 2. See if there are any recurring meetings that could be eliminated 3. See if there are any meetings that could be shortened 4. Speak up at meetings and suggest ways to make them more productive 5. Request that agenda items be sent out in advance 6. Take notes during meetings and follow up afterwards 7. Keep track of how much time is actually spent in productive discussion 8. See if there are any Standing Meetings that could be converted to another format 9. Encourage others to speak up if they feel a meeting is going on too long 10. Host a “No Meeting Day”
