1. SERVICE MENU DESCRIPTIONS
Bath and Brush — The Calm Start
Some dogs love bath time. Others need it to feel
safe before anything else. We take as long as your
dog needs, using warm water and gentle shampoo that
leaves their coat soft and their mood calmer than
when they arrived. Perfect for maintenance between
full grooms.
Full Groom — Head to Tail
A complete session covering bath, blow dry, brush
out, nail trim, ear clean and full scissor or
clipper finish. Every dog gets the same unhurried
attention whether they sit perfectly still or need
ten breaks and a lot of reassurance. We have time.
Puppy First Groom — The Introduction
The first groom sets the tone for every groom after.
We keep it short, positive and full of treats so
your puppy leaves with their tail wagging and a
good memory of the table. No rushing. No drama.
Senior Dog Spa — Gentle and Warm
Older dogs need more than a groom — they need
patience, warmth and hands that know where it hurts.
We use a heated table, extra support and a slower
pace so your senior dog is comfortable from the
first minute to the last.
Breed Specific Styling — The Proper Finish
Schnauzers, Doodles, Spaniels, Terriers — every
breed has a coat that behaves differently and a
standard that matters. We know the difference
between a pet trim and a breed finish and we ask
which one you want before we pick up the scissors.
2. ABOUT US PAGE
Not every dog walks calmly onto a grooming table.
Some shake. Some bark at the clippers. Some have
been through enough that a stranger touching them
feels like a big ask.
Muddy Paws started in 2019 because Sarah could not
find a groomer in Austin who would take the time
her rescue Beagle needed. So she trained, built
out a van and started doing it herself.
Every dog that comes to us gets the same thing —
no rush, no cage drying, no background noise, just
one dog and one groomer with nowhere else to be.
We specialise in anxious dogs, rescue dogs and dogs
who have had bad experiences before. They are not
difficult. They just need someone who understands.
We come to you, park outside your home and bring
the whole salon to your street. Your dog never
has to sit in a waiting room or smell other animals.
If your dog has made you feel guilty about grooming
before, we would love to change that. Book a meet
and greet first — no table, no tools, just a hello.
3. SOCIAL MEDIA CAPTIONS
Post 1 — Before and After:
The before: one very muddy Labrador who had strong
opinions about the bath.
The after: one very fluffy Labrador who fell asleep
during the blow dry.
This is why we do it.
Every transformation starts with patience and ends
with a very pleased owner at the door.

Post 2 — Grooming Tip:
Brushing your dog at home between grooms does not
have to be a wrestling match.
Start with 2 minutes while they eat their dinner.
They are distracted, you are brushing and nobody
is stressed.
Build up slowly and within a few weeks most dogs
stop noticing entirely.
Your groomer will notice the difference too.

Post 3 — Breed Spotlight:
This week we are talking about Goldendoodles.
Their coats are beautiful and they mat faster than
almost any other breed if the undercoat is not
managed properly.
The fix is not more bathing — it is more brushing
right down to the skin, not just on top.
If you are not sure whether your Doodle has mats
forming, bring them in for a brush check before
the full groom. Catching it early saves everyone
a difficult day.

Post 4 — Client Testimonial Style:
Rosie had been turned away by two groomers before
she came to us.
She is a three year old rescue with a history that
makes strangers feel like a threat.
Her owner messaged us last week to say Rosie jumped
into the van voluntarily for the third visit in a row.
That message made our whole week.
Anxious dogs are not problem dogs. They just need
the right environment and enough time.

Post 5 — Seasonal:
Summer coats are not just about looking good —
they are about keeping your dog cool when Austin
decides to turn into a furnace.
We are booking summer slots now and they are going
fast. A proper summer trim keeps air circulating
against the skin and makes the heat genuinely more
manageable for your dog.
Book through the link in bio before the waitlist
fills up.

4. CLIENT WELCOME EMAIL
Subject: What to expect on groom day
Hi there,
We are so glad you booked with Muddy Paws and
we cannot wait to meet your dog.
Here is what groom day looks like: we park
outside your home, text you when we arrive and
bring everything inside the van. Your dog never
leaves your street.
One tip before we arrive — skip the walk that
morning if you can. A slightly restless dog is
easier to settle than an overtired one.
If your dog has any spots they dislike being
touched please mention it when we arrive.
No detail is too small.
See you soon.

6. EMAIL NEWSLETTER TEMPLATE
Subject: Your monthly paws update from Muddy Paws
GROOMING TIP OF THE MONTH
This month we are talking about ears. Most dogs
need their ear canal checked and cleaned regularly
— especially floppy eared breeds like Spaniels
and Bassets who trap moisture. Signs to watch for:
head shaking, scratching at the ear, or a smell
that was not there before. Mention it at your
next groom and we will take a look.
BREED OF THE MONTH — BORDER COLLIE
Border Collies have a double coat that sheds
heavily twice a year and moderately all the time.
They do not need clipping — in fact cutting the
coat can damage the insulating properties that
keep them cool in summer and warm in winter.
Regular brushing and a de-shed treatment twice
a year is the right approach for most Collies.
SEASONAL REMINDER
Summer booking is now open. We have limited slots
in June and July so if you want a regular summer
slot please book now rather than waiting until
the heat arrives and everyone books at once.
BEHIND THE SCENES
Last month we groomed our 500th dog since launching
in 2019. Her name was Biscuit, she was a 14 year
old Westie and she fell asleep on the table halfway
through her blow dry. We could not have asked for
a better number 500.
Until next month,
Sarah
