Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 lb Italian sausage
15 oz whole milk ricotta
2 cups shredded mozzarella (8 oz)
25 oz marinara sauce (about 3 cups)
12 no-boil lasagna noodles
Step 1) In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown and crumble ground beef and sausage until no longer pink. Drain fat if needed.
Step 2) In baking dish, spread thin layer of marinara sauce evenly across bottom. Arrange 4 noodles side by side to cover sauce.
Step 3) Distribute layers evenly - meat sauce, ricotta, mozzarella. Repeat layering noodles, sauce and cheeses.
Step 4) End with mozzarella layer on top. Optionally garnish with parsley.
Step 5) Cover tightly with foil and bake at 375° for 45-50 minutes until hot and bubbly.
Step 6) Let stand 10 minutes before cutting and serving with garlic bread!
