Voxel Wool Portraits

Your face, built from tiny wool-covered cubes — each one slightly irregular, slightly fuzzy at the edges, like someone made a miniature version of you out of needle-felted sponge and then photographed it up close. Behind you, a thick impasto painting — heavy brushstrokes, swirling color, the kind of background that makes the structured voxel version of you pop like a sculpture in a gallery. It's a combination that shouldn't work as well as it does. Geometric and soft at the same time.
