The gearbox: The gearbox is the element that allows the car's speed to be changed. It can be manual or automatic. Transmission shaft: The transmission shaft is the element that transfers the power from the engine to the wheels. The differential: The differential is the element that allows the wheels to turn at different speeds. III. The suspension system: The suspension system is the set of elements that keep the wheels in contact with the ground. It consists of several elements: Shock absorbers: Shock absorbers are the elements that absorb shocks. Springs: The springs are the elements that keep the car in balance. Stabilizer bars: Stabilizer bars are the elements that reduce the roll of the car. IV. Brakes: The brakes are the elements that stop the car. They consist of several elements: Brake pads: The brake pads are the elements that press against the brake disc to stop the car.
