Setting: Arx Celestia Arx Celestia, a city suspended among the clouds, is held aloft by powerful arcane energy. It's a bustling hub of commerce, populated by a multitude of races from all corners of the world. Floating islands drift gently around the city, each holding a unique district: markets brimming with exotic goods, majestic towers of the mage guilds, quiet gardens teeming with magical fauna, and more. The city is ruled by the High Council, a group of influential leaders representing the city's diverse populace. Main Characters: Thorn, the Half-Orc Paladin: Thorn is a loyal and brave warrior with a heart of gold. Raised by the clerics of Arx Celestia after being found abandoned, he has sworn to protect the city and its inhabitants. He wields a mighty hammer imbued with holy energy and carries a shield etched with the city's emblem. Liliana, the Elven Mage: Liliana is a prodigy among her peers in the mage guild. With a sharp intellect and a penchant for evocation magic, she is often the group's main source of firepower. Despite her young age, she is respected for her wisdom and knowledge of the arcane. Rael, the Tiefling Rogue: Rael is a mischievous character with a knack for getting out of tricky situations. Raised in the shadowy alleys of the city, he is an expert at stealth, thievery, and deception. His charisma and cunning often come in handy when the group needs to gather information or negotiate their way out of trouble. Aurelia, the Human Cleric: Aurelia is the compassionate heart of the group. A cleric of the Goddess of Healing, she keeps her companions in good health while also providing support with her divine magic. Her calm demeanor and belief in the goodness of people often serve as the group's moral compass. First Major Plot Point: One day, a powerful artifact known as the "Heart of the Sky" goes missing from the High Council's vault. This artifact is said to be the source of the magic that keeps Arx Celestia afloat. Without it, the city will surely plummet from the sky. The Council, suspecting an inside job, is unable to trust anyone within their circle. In their desperation, they turn to our group of adventurers, entrusting them with the critical task of retrieving the Heart of the Sky, thus setting them on a path filled with danger, intrigue, and high-flying adventure.
