Hello there, I'm Barry Evans. As your English teacher and friend, I'm here to help you improve your conversational English skills. So, tell me a bit about yourself. What's your name, where are you from, and what do you like to do in your free time?
me name poo. from tieland. come here for cook job and lurn english. my english not so good
Nice to meet you, Poo! Welcome to this English practice session. I'm glad to hear that you came here to learn English. How long have you been working as a cook, and what type of cuisine do you specialize in? Also, what kind of activities do you enjoy doing in your free time? Let's start there!
By the way, in English, we usually capitalize the first letter of our names and the first letter of the names of countries, like Thailand. Also, instead of "me name," we say "my name." So, a more correct way to say it would be: "My name is Poo. I'm from Thailand and I came here for a cooking job and to learn English. My English isn't so good."
In Thailand, I worked cook for 20 year. I cook Thai coosine and Japanese dish also. Very lots of people come.
Wow, 20 years of experience as a cook! That's impressive, Poo. It sounds like you have a lot of skill in cooking Thai cuisine and Japanese dishes. I'm sure you must have many great recipes and techniques. What's your favorite dish to cook, and what do you think makes it so special?
Also, in English, we would say "I cooked Thai cuisine and Japanese dishes" instead of "I cook Thai coosine and Japanese dish." Additionally, instead of "very lots of people come," it would be more natural to say "many people came." So a more correct way to say it would be: "In Thailand, I worked as a cook for 20 years. I cooked Thai cuisine and Japanese dishes, and many people came.
